"The tone does start at the top, and we like to look up to our president and feel as though he reflects the values of our country," Valerie Jarrett says in an MSNBC special.https://usat.ly/2sm9bz9

Disagree with Valerie Jarrett because folks have been making racist jokes long before Trump took office. The President does not set the tone of values for our country just as Obama, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Nixon and so forth.

Hmm - so the same people who got all up in arms over Michelle Wolf are defending Roseanne. The same people who say the NFL can ban players from kneeling because they are a private organization are upset a private organization fired Roseanne for violating their standards

I don't agree with what #Roseanne said just as I don't agree with someone calling me mulatto or half-breed but cancelling the show is excessive. Especially when @ABCNetwork @Disney knew of Roseanne off the cuff comments years ago

Roseanne screwed up, just like she did when she sang the star spangled banner! But so did many people today! Comedian holding the severed head covered in blood of the POUTS! No outrage by media! Sticks and stones break bones, but names will never hurt you mommy said in the 60's!

Rosanne says "I'm sorry...my tweet was in bad taste." As an adult, why couldn't she THINK before she spoke?" The hallmark of a typical Trumpanzee...!

Maher was attempting to be funny, and the joke fell flat. It was done out of ignorance. Rosanne meant what she said. What she said was out of malice. There's a difference.
