    Also today - An Appeals Court in Minnesota denied a request by the Red Lake Band of Chippewa and White Earth Band of Ojibwe to stop construction of .

    This afternoon near Cloquest, Minnesota, over 50 water protectors walked onto an easement for construction & two locked themselves to excavator laying pipe. Y'day (the nite pic), an action halted construction at a site for over 7+ hours. Photos & info via Camp Migizi.

    This injunction order is only the precursor to the fully-fledged trial, which according to McNulty, may not begin for a few years. If the judge’s injunction ruling is not successfully appealed, then the order will be in place until the trial is complete.

    With the city spending hundreds of thousands of dollars each year on sweeps, they could potentially divert that money into solutions that will prevent the public health & safety concerns they allege. Unicorn Riot uncovered some of the costs of sweeps:
