#COVID19 continues its path of worsening destruction. We mourn the lives lost – more than 200,000 - @antonioguterres

Since the start of the pandemic the @UN has: - Launched a $2 billion Humanitarian Response Plan - With @WHO, participated in a global collaboration to speed up production of a vaccine - Provided tests, respirators & masks to 100+ countries - Appealed for a global ceasefire

It is my hope the Security Council will be able to find unity and adopt decisions that can help to make ceasefires meaningful and real - @antonioguterres #COVID19

I continue to advocate a global relief package amounting to a double-digit percentage of the global economy – at least 10 per cent. Developing countries need massive and urgent support - @antonioguterres #COVID19
