Just had confirmation that @UNSW remains open during a pandemic despite claiming to be a place of expertise and knowledge.
Please join me in asking them not to continue to put their staff and student's lives at risk as well as the wider community they have contact with.
Hi Lee, our campus remains open as we haven't been directed to close by @NSWHealth, but all of our learning has moved to online, and the majority of staff are working remotely.

How are you ensuring this is their choice tho!? Particularly when it comes to HDR students. We all know there are some supervisors out there who think they own their students. So I ask how are you ensuring they have a right to refuse to come to the lab Without retribution?

they can't. no uni can. it's like, how do you ensure that HDR students take 2 days off per week and any public holidays they are entitled to? OR even, are you ensuring that HDR students take their alloted leave every year and actually don't work during that time period?
