UNSW continues to operate & @NSWHealth has not advised us to shut the campus at this time. We are minimising F2F contact in study & work environments through online classes & remote working arrangements. These measures are being put in place at least until the Easter break.

CLARIFICATION: The student attended a 3-hour EDST6922 class from 5-8pm on Monday 9 March at Matthews 308 on our Kensington campus. They exhibited mild symptoms while on campus, *and did not attend the campus after the Monday lecture.
Hey @NSWHealth, what will it take for you to advise UNSW to shut the campus? 2 confirmed infections and 1 self isolating class not enough? I am genuinely curious to know what's the threshold they have to cross is.
1 case on the ground floor of NAB in Docklands, VIC is shutting the entire building down. UNSW Kensington has had 2 confirmed cases, one that attended lectures with other students. Asking again: What's the threshold for shutting down here in NSW?
I’m a student, why you are putting us in risk? How long you have to wait ? Why not shutdown ? My class has 100 plus students and I’m not going to campus any time soon. So far, disappointing response from UNSW.
What about labs @UNSW and @NSWHealth ? Can one of you come and show me how you are planning to enforce “social distancing” in laboratories?
The campus should be closed! Is so irresponsible from everyone in charge to continue open
Please give the students an option to leave campus and study online. At this rate, they will not be able to concentrate fully given the seriousness in this matter. Life matters, do not compromise them at any age
