  1. Mum of two-weeks four days old Adepa is happy her daughter has received the vaccine this week. When the immunization campaign came to her community the first time, mum Patricia had just delivered at Atronie Health Centre in Asikafo Ambantem, Sunyani, Bono region.

    What a fantastic field visit! After 1 hour boat trip & motorcycle ride, we reached children in the BBC community, Mpaha, Savannah region. In a remote settlement, we were happy to see children's fingers marked on receiving polio vaccines Well done Ghana Health Services & Partners.

    These two adorable girls in Ameworyikope DA Primary School, Krachi West proudly show off their marked fingers. This means they have just received vaccines against the polio virus. The Government of Ghana, UNICEF, WHO and partners are working tirelessly to in Ghana.

    Determined to leave no child behind, vaccination teams travel through difficult terrains to immunize children. This team walked for 5 kilometers to reach children in a Fulani settlement at Akyeremade Battor community in Sene West district, in Bono East

    The fight to has vaccinated more than 2.5 billion children and mobilized 20 million volunteers around the world since 1988. We're 99.9% of the way there. With continued support, we will overcome the last hurdles to eradication!
