All true! But you neglected to consider including mankind's massive direct aquatic thermal contribution and how it alters healthy aquatic conduction values. Please consider, because until you do, solutions will not be considered either.

When the deep cold waters of the Arctic were the stronger conductor, the ancient snow pack and deep water ice was stable. Since the thermal contamination neutralized that conduction value, and made the ice and snow packs the stronger conductor, they have declined very rapidly.

Ice melts twelve times faster when it becomes the conductor, as apposed to when the conduction draws thermal energy away from the ice, as once did the oceans DOW, prior to mankind's aquatic thermal contamination.
