Any reinforced concrete structure submerged under water from one side while the other side is exposed to the air, consider the steel rebar inside the section null within 50 years. If it was submerged from both sides, rebar'll live longer. One side submerge causes rapid corrosion.
Dams on average last around 50 years. @UNUniversity say many are operating beyond their life design
