I wonder - in the face of so much evidence over so long - what is stopping global constituencies from adopting comprehensive risk typologies as part of national & regional vulnerability reduction & mitigation efforts?
The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction sets a deadline of 2020 for national and local strategies for DRR to be in place and this should include risk profiling if we are to progress on reducing disaster losses
