A racist who is infighting w/the others has taken to informing on his 'brothers.' He sent an unsolicited message claiming 4 neo-Confeds plan to be at UNC tomorrow. The source is dubious, but we believe it was worth issuing a PSA because racists usually show up on campus on 8/20.

Two nights ago, a white supremacist placed several "white lives matter" stickers on campus (including along Ridge Rd & South Rd). Community members quickly removed them. If you see any others, please take them down & send us a DM letting us know where you found them.

We have intel that white supremacists - including one or both of those who desecrated Unsung Founders Memorial - may be at UNC-CH at some point on Friday, 8/20 (the 3rd anniversary of the Silent Sam toppling). We will send an SMS alert if we see them or other racists on campus.

WRAL used our tweets without permission. We would not have granted it due to WRAL's pattern of publishing the home addresses of anti-racist protesters, putting them at risk of violence from racists like those who desecrated Unsung Founders this weekend.

In this clip May threatens to pour acid on Unsung Founders. Later he said, “I can’t wait until this gets torn down…I’m not gonna do it, but I know some people who will.” UNC Police walked by, did nothing, & stood far away for over an hour while community confronted the racists.

I remember when someone said that bc Silent Sam is gone, incidents like this will cease — and I laughed bc I knew they were dead wrong. I hope Black #UNC25 is aware that this is what they’ll be seeing on the campus they call home & the university will do nothing to protect them.
