Anyone else get so frustrated that these Governments just don't make any effort to achieve these goals even when they could? We shouldn't have to fight so hard for this...

Totally agree. Critical at both UN nature COP15 and climate COP26 will be binding legal commitments + actions to acheive the goals + monitoring and enforcement.
