Today is #FatCatFriday Sounds great, right? 🐱 Well, unfortunately it's not. Take a look at this 👇pic.twitter.com/ThXri0vHe2

    Fat Cat Friday
We wish it was the fluffy kind. But unfortunately, Fat Cat Friday is the day when top bosses will have earned the same as the average British worker (like a nurse or midwife) earns in an entire year.

When @UKLabour was in power for 13 years - did it take the opportunity to tax the hell outta those pay cheques? Did they do anything at all to address inequality? Did they abolish the ridiculous House of Lewds?? Did they??

Er, haven't you heard of Working Tax Credits, Child Tax Credits? Whilst not a total solution to inequality they really helped to prevent Low Paid Working Classes fall further into poverty. It helped Millions of parents and children live a hell of a lot better. #JC4PM2019

I asked if they taxed the rich loafers ... they certainly did hand out Credits, which helped a lot, but none more than employers, who should have been paying properly for labour (not having the Govn giving a hand!)

I agree. What was supposed to be a fix for low paid workers ended up becoming a grant for businesses to employ low paid workers! At least the attempt was there to mitigate the poverty wages of employers though. I know we as young working parents would not have managed with them.

There was so much they failed to do. While maintaining cheap credit before the banking crisis the benefits were at the top 10%. That doesn’t work out democratically. http://www.blog.rippedoffbritons.com/p/nequality-consi.html?m=1 …

The really fascinating aspect Fuzz - is that Toryscum actually say 'reducing inequality' is one of their main achievements 😮😮 That's right - war is peace; poor is rich; ooohhh yes, and rich is poor ☺️

The basic annual salary for an MP from 1 April 2018 is £77,379. MPs also receive expenses. So when is it for MPs? April?

Well, they were destroyed (literally, murdered) during socialist revolution in Russia. Guess what, it didn’t help. The sad truth is, you can either fight with rich, or with poverty, but not simultaneously, so you have to choose. Fighting with rich is easier, so Labour chose that.
