Big news that a major information platform has decided to selectively restrict the flow of information for some individuals

He was banned for breaking the tos. He isn't allowed on twitter.
-
It was not his account It was an account that was run by members of his team on his behalf
-
Doesn't change the ToS violation. Plus, he's got previous for lying about such things.
-
Do you know what got him kicked off of Twitter in the first place? Tweeting interracial gay porn at the Alt-Right Yes. He got yote for tweeting interracial gay porn To white nationalists.
-
And how about all the times since then? His given word is worthless.
-
"members of his team"

UKIP runs on siphoned red diesel.

Nah. If he was banned before he declared his intention to run, it isnt interference. Especially since twitter is a privately held company.
-
The account was made after he announced his intention to run. It is political interference. Especially considering he doesn’t operate the account himself anyway
-
Read Twitter's rules. If your account is suspended they wont let you use that name again. He had already been suspended. What's UKIP to Twitter? Nothing, another user of its platform that's all. It's not interfering with democracy at all. Twitter is a social media platform
-
The account was on his behalf not by him, so his personal bans do not count against it. As for the democratic thing, get them to ban any US electoral account and watch the lawmakers pounce of them, stifling a candidate of any stripe is interfering.
-
I refer you again to Twitter rules. Its matters not who is operating the account. Twitter will not allow an account with the same name as an account that has been suspended. He had previously been suspended using an account in his name. It's the account name not the operators
-
'On his behalf.' Yawn. Couldn't even keep up his own pretence.pic.twitter.com/bFCPODrWWS

He was banned from twitter for breaking their terms of service, he's been banned, so isn't allowed on twitter, it's not difficult.
-
It's not his account, He has a team of people who manage the account for him, he has no access to the account. It's not difficult.
-
If he has a team of people then he is still responsible. It’s his team.
-
UK election law may see it differently.
-
No. It wont.
-
Time will tell. . .
-
I mean has UKIP or Carl started legal proceedings? Can you cite the part in electoral law where candidates must be grant a platform on a private service?
-
He was banned for TOS violations and has tried several tricks to circumvent those bans. The option of not being a massively bigoted wankpuffin is always a good choice, then I guess being a decent person would rule him out of representing UKIP.
