Utterly undemocratic that these unelected bodies can completely derail any chance of getting a decent withdrawal agreement from the EU. They are laughing at the UK and it is time for Politics to change for the better!
HoC is elected "Ian". Process would have been even quicker without HoL.
Serious question. What use is the Privy Council if it doesn't advise the Queen that the bill it brings is pants and doesn't think it should be signed off?
The Provy Council has other purposes. It's members have access to state papers, and the Judicial Committee is a kind of constitutional court.
