I wonder how many colleagues qualify to apply for settled status in the UK, as the country seeks to manage EU citizens exercising Treaty rights. Unsettling times.

Our inability to develop the Inclusivity Strategy was due to the problems DCP have been through in the wider BPS. Now resolved +we are moving forward. Strategy will be revisited, we will have a Minorities Subcommittee under the Exec. BPS is prioritising too

Four years ago today we launched 'Understanding Psychosis'. A huge thank you to all my co-authors and to all those who've used it, distributed it, translated it, designed training based on it or otherwise helped get it out there!

Proud to see our book 'Understanding Psychosis' cited by the United Nations in support of the statement that 'the psychosocial model has emerged as an evidence-based response to the biomedical paradigm' (Click on E for English copy)

This is NOT the solution to children’s mental health. It can help some children but does nothing to address the environmental and relationship factors that are contributing hugely to distress; and risks perpetuating the ‘refer on’ culture that leaves everyone feeling deskilled.
