I got asked about the pronouns on my badge yesterday! "I can see why a trans person would do this, but why a cis person?" In a word, normalization. @UINT_MIN In Chinese we don’t actually distinguish between genders of pronouns. For Mandarin it’s always ‘他ta’ and Cantonese ’佢kui’, despite the artificially created (她female/它inanimate) written forms (same pronunciation) from the late 1800s due to influence from the West. :)
Salesforce has been doing this at TDX and Dreamforce for a bit now (via stickers).
