After several hours of battling the fire, the flames were finally brought under control. We thank all responding Firefighters for their hard work in containing this massive blaze.

They found two people who had been injured, and quickly got them out of the building and to safety. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, one person was killed in the fire. We send our deepest condolences to the family affected.

Firefighters immediately went to work to rescue victims and to extinguish this blaze. Their first priority was to get the residents out of the building and to safety. They rushed into the building, searching for anyone who may be trapped inside.

Earlier this afternoon in the Bronx, Firefighters responded to a raging two-alarm fire at an apartment building. As they arrived, they were met with a terrifying sight. The flames were already towering high and the smoke was thick.

We are proud of our Firefighters who continue to serve and protect the citizens of New York City.

Make sure you have working smoke detectors in your home, and have an emergency plan in place. They also want to remind everyone to be cautious when cooking, and to never leave the stove unattended.

Unfortunately, the fire did cause some injuries. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their hearts go out to them and their families during this difficult time. They want to remind everyone that fires can happen at any time, and it's important to be prepared.

It was a difficult task, as the flames had spread through multiple floors and rooms. But with the help of their fellow firefighters, they were able to get the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings.

Their first priority was to get the residents out of the building and to safety. Despite the intense heat and dangerous conditions, they were able to evacuate everyone before the fire spread too far.Once they had the situation under control, they began working to put out the fire

On Monday, Firefighters from E35/TL14, E53/L43, and E91 were called to a massive fire that broke out in a building in Harlem; right around the corner from E35/TL’s house. As soon as they arrived on the scene, they could see the flames and smoke pouring out of the windows.
