It is impossible to watch today and not recognize white privilege and white supremacy in action. There were many peaceful protests in support of racial justice over the summer. Too often they were met with aggressive suppression and violence—and mass arrests.

It is not a privilege for me to be white. It is shame to be white. Unfair as an individual perhaps, but many unfair things have been ENDURED by individuals who have caused no injury to others. I am just sad and brokenhearted for the future of Earth and our children.
