    The has long been using civilian assets for troop transportation. In a test with a ro-ro ferry, made by Bohai Ferry Group, the PLA shipped dozens of tanks and AFVs. The 44.000t ship is 212 meter long and 28.6 wide. It has 3 vehicle decks and space for 2000 passengers.
