"Treatment should not happen under the threat of incarceration." Well, then I'd probably be dead right now. And everyone who got clean through reentry wouldn't be clean either. What a dangerously inaccurate statement. Insidious.

Anything to get clean. Some people need different paths than others. Every chance is hope and taking one road off the map means those that need to see that path never will. And that costs a human toll. No meth-22 years. No weed- 11 years No booze- 10 years. My story.
