I don't remember my password!!!!
We recently found a bug that stored passwords unmasked in an internal log. We fixed the bug and have no indication of a breach or misuse by anyone. okay so it says you "removed the passwords" but it does not describe the time period over which the logging was occurring?

I did read the post, and my question stands. "Removed the passwords" is imprecise. Does it mean removed from the data that gets logged from this point forward, or that existing logs containing passwords have been destroyed? What about backups of same?

I actually had the same question. I'm not tech savvy and it crossed my mind.

Also, logs get backed up just like everything else. Maybe stored in a database, as files on a backup server, compressed and archived elsewhere... I would like to know if our unmasked passwords were backed up in multiple locations over the years.

First, check your email address and your personal data are correct. Then:
Settings
> Account
> Set up login verification
+ Require personal information to reset your password
