We’re taking more steps to encourage thoughtful amplification by preventing Tweets that have been “followed by” and “liked by” accounts you don’t follow from showing up in your timeline.

many people "amplify a tweet" in order to encourage harassment - or to mock the user, which (intentionally or not) leads to harassment. I'd prefer you focus on allowing users to protect themselves from this, rather than encouraging more of it.
