Earlier this week Tweets were sent that contained graphic and violent videos. We pointed people to our Help Center to explain why they remained up, and this caused some confusion.

If you insist on allowing abusive tweets, please label them with a big red box as offensive, then lock them, so they can't be deleted, retweeted, or commented on. Let them stand alone "in the public interest" yet starve them of engagement fuel.

I understand the newsworthy concept or being overly tolerant. But these tweets should not be considered as or included in, normal conversations here. Even marking "sensitive" is not nearly enough.

Lastly, stop making policy based on a few abusive users (compared to majority of platform users.) And instead, make a solid policy and require all to follow it or leave.

Adding this PS: I really empathize with the humans at Twitter who have to review the offensive material. All the more reason to use the power proactively.

Bull. One rule for everyone, including Presidents. You make yourself an arm of the Presidency when you make exceptions for him. Random enforcement is not an excuse for subjective enforcement. You saw his tweet. You did this on purpose.
