This might surprise you. I don’t feel safer being forced to add a phone number to my account. Not a little bit. Not only do you let potential stalkers search for people with that number, there is no guarantee you won’t make that information public when you get a glitch.

WebAuthn doesn't rely on phone numbers. That's one of its (many) security/privacy benefits over SMS-based authentication.

…apparently the answer is “no, we still do not support using more than one token”, which… I can’t even. What the precise fuck? Did you even look at any other implementation? I’m sorry, I know every project has constraints, but this is embarrassingly bad.

@CharlieCroom so would this allow me to use my phone + fingerprint as authenticator (Chrome on Android supports that) and also use a Yubikey on my desktop? -
I think right now only physical security keys are supported, but other webauthn devices should be coming...
