As we continue to increase transparency around our rules and enforcement actions, we wanted to be open about this action given the broad interest in this case. We do not typically comment on enforcement actions we take against individual accounts, for their privacy.

It's really not that complex......pic.twitter.com/xsFzgNyTA1

It’s a private business. People agree to abide by the Terms of Service when they set up a user profile. Those who don’t abide the rules set forth by the private company, which allows them to use their company’s service for free, agreed that they understood they could be banned.
-
I pay the phone company & don’t agree to let them do that. Twitter is more like being invited to a big potluck party
@jack’s house. I’d hope you wouldn’t think it’s okay for someone to walk in & start kicking others or incite groups of people to attack or harass other guests. -
Do you think "hate speech" is a thing?
-
Plus you pay in ads so it's not like it's free. They build a full advertisement identity on your data and sell it. Saying twitter is free is a blatant lie
-
@jack potluck at his house is full of advertisements of the radical left. When I turn on twitter I’m hit with advertisements of things like Beto OSnork and Ellen degenerate ( not a fan). I’m a conservative and I know there are conservative advertisements I would like more. -
*spits tea*
If you block them or follow & then mute them, that should help. I don’t think there’s a way to prevent promoted tweets but you can block those accounts too & be shown different promoted tweets instead.

It was for denouncing CNN's Oliver Darcy to his face for being a coward for tattling on him to Twitter for his his tweets, and lobbying for his suspension. Telling the truth is a violation of terms of service now on Twitter.

I could not be agree more and the same happened to me..

I know a lot of people don’t like Alex Jones but are y’all pushing and trying to take our freedom of speech away like what we can’t talk bad about the government or anything even though it’s an freedom of speech
-
The Gov≠Twitter. Much like I can't yell fire at a movie theater there's some things that you are liable for. Alex Jones can still say whatever he wants.
-
However, I personally believe that social media has become the public square of yesterday and should be regulated like a utility.

#shame one of the few social media platforms I actually respected. Already sold my stock after the shadowban controversy, now reconsidering the use of this platform all together. -
yup. twitter has stood out from the pack but no more.
