It was important enough to you to search for a GIF
-
It’s not that deep, some people don’t base who they are on their sexuality
-
the people who dont base who they are based on their sexuality are the ones basing other people existence based on their sexuality and deciding to murder them so maybe those people need to think twice about whether or not
#pride
is important -
I’m not saying don’t be proud of who you are, I’m saying people don’t have to push it in others faces is all. I don’t care what you do with other people.
-
Our entire culture pushes a heterosexual narrative. God forbid the LGBTQ+ community gets some recognition once a year

-
Lol what are you talking about? The lgbtq pushes everything in people’s faces. These days it’s almost a crime to be a straight white male. It’s pathetic. Trust me EVERYBODY knows y’all exist, especially on social media.
-
Straight white male here, no one ever persecutes me. You’re living in a fantasy brought on by reading too many hysterical tweets and not actually living in the world. It’s spring, go outside

Is important because we can emphasize the importance of equality among all, we do not want to be superior, we want to fight homophobia, arouse respect for all regardless of whether it is a LGBT person or not, we need all the support to get a good representation.pic.twitter.com/gtZUjUNghU

I used to have hopes with
#Clexa, but this couple has become another case of#BuryYourGays, I still expect a positive resolution on this. They need to stop killing us on TV! We also need representation.pic.twitter.com/xXDOCPzGTt -
9/10 when someone dies in a movie. It's a straight one.
-
Have you thought it's because there is a lack of queer people in these movies/tv shows? 99% of the characters are straight so of course the majority to die are straight ... this is simple math 2+2=4
-
I never denied that. But it's weird how y'all are complaining that "all' LGBTJSFHJKH characters dies in movies. On a side note, personally, if I was an actor I'd love to die in a movie lol.
-
Maybe bc we are lgbt & we are looking 4 better rep? If all the lgbt char die what's the message to the audience? That's this has to be lgbt people's fate. This is wrong & has to change. Good char & rep on tv also helps to fight homophobia so of course we r going to highlight itpic.twitter.com/B9FPn07HEn

Definitely all of the above and more. Just reading people questioning when there’ll be a ‘straight pride month’ or what’s the need to ‘shove someone’s beliefs down their throat’ whenever
#PrideMonth
starts up to the plenty of homophobic Tweets we read everyday. #Pride2018
-
#Pride2018
is a way to celebrate mine and many other beautiful people’s identity & to progress in the road to equality, for example showing our support to our trans brothers and sisters which experience hate crimes and are still killed for choosing to be who they are. -
Finally, more than ever,
#PrideMonth
is a reminder of how we are from equality and how much more there’s to do starting from recognising the basic right to love with marriage equality. #Pride2018

-
Last but not least thank you Twitter for giving the LGBTQIA+ community a platform to have our voices listened to, amplified, shared and to read other stories not only in
#PrideMonth
but everyday. #Pride2018
-
Yes, thank you Twitter for propping one group up whist working to silence others. Pravda would be proud.
