I think you need to report these officers for gross incompetence. Seriously. Move up the chain of command, probably through legal counsel. Absolute madness.
Yup I had to go above the officiers heads with my stalker. Went to their boss and I never stopped calling and emailing until they jailed him.
I'd raise a complaint regarding this. This needs to be escalated
