Honestly, I reported him for a very serious assault, I had a witness, they did nothing. He slept behind my house for the evening and rang my doorbell for hours. It took them months to act, and it was only after the shop incident, he wasn't even charged for the rest.
He had a knife when they arrested him last time and they still released him with a warning. He moved really close to my house, they did nothing. Honestly I have lost hope at this point.
Can you start a gofundme so we can raise money for some form of security? Or is that not an option?
It took me over a year to get my stalker arrested, even with all of the death threats and cyberstalking, only reason why they did something was because I threatened to go to social media/ news with how little they were helping.
WTF?!? How is he not locked up?? And what is wrong with the police/system there? I hope you stay safe and I hope they actually lock this guy up for your, and other people’s, safety.
Sadly here in the UK, police seem very reactionary or apathetic. Like if they catch the guy red handed then they'll still borderline harass the victim to drop charges as they don't wanna deal with the paperwork if that makes sense. That's been how my local PD are anyhow

Please do not loose hope, I was a victim of stalking for years, it took a lot of work to get it to stop but don't give up. Invest in an outdoor camera, having proof he's there on your property goes along way with most police departments, if you need to talk to a lawyer. (1)
Your safety is key here. No one should have to feel this fear. A lawyer though can help give a push where one is needed if things are not moving fast enough. And if you ever need to talk, vent, anything DM me. Sometimes it helps talking to someone.

If we knew what police force this was you could make a complaint to the chief of police. When he has 20,000 people bombarding him he might act differently. British police only act proper when they think their at risk of some unwanted attention from the media.

What state? Get a gun. Regardless of your feelings on them, this guy is clearly unpredictable and dangerous and the police have shown they're unreliable. Get a gun!
