Bunnies hate when roots grow into the warren and block off the burrow, so they instinctively chew them on sight. Unfortunately most bunnies don't know the difference between a root and a wire, and they legit think they are being helpful

Get "cages" like these around tour hardware, solved all my problems with my bun so I don't have to watch him every seconds, I just get him some clean cardboard boxes and he's good!
