Are you also bipolar? I heard this two things correlate.
No I'm not Bipolar. OCD and ADHD are both often comorbid with tourettes. But Bipolar isn't usually connected with tourettes syndrome.

Does it affect your mental Capabilities like reading writing or thinking ? or does it just affect your speech?
