Misconceptions like this are why I decided to do a stream about it. Most people can feel casual attraction to strangers. They can have celebrity crushes and watch porn. Demisexuals are limited to people they have an established bond with.
Many Demis grow up confused or wonder why they don't feel attraction to anyone. Some assume that they are Asexual at first, until they bond with someone unexpectedly, and experience sexual feelings for the first time. Sexual attraction can be very rare for us.

Not to mention an important fact for others to remember is that sexuality is a spectrum; as a heterosexual, I DEFINITELY have far more in common with demisexual than homosexual. I dunno if I'm "full demi" but I definitely see parts of it in myself :V

Yeah that explains a lot for me. Im just learning about demisexuality rn but it makes a lot of things make sense for me. I can still be minorly attracted to people i dont know, but doesnt matter enough to me unless i know their personality and can feel comfortable around them

I wasn't there for the stream but I seem to recall you calling the cheating plumber guy hot/attractive, do you still feel some pressure like you know someone's attractive or did you otherwise explain this in the stream?
