I wish people would stop treating south park Like a documentary. These people are literally using a cartoon child as an excuse to be abusive.
Wasn't the point of the south park episode that faking an illness for personal gain is horrible? And that thinking it's a joke (like Cartman did) is incredibly disrespectful?
That was supposed to be the point. Yet, people have pitchforks and they want to use them.
On top of which the moral of the South Park episode was that there's a difference between having Tourette's as opposed to just having no filter. They got the opposite of the intended moral.
Not to mention the whole point of that episode is how immoral and wrong it is to do such a thing, and how in the end really, Cartman pretty much became the thing he was faking, and absolutely hated every minute of it when he actually "developed" the disorder.

I feel like this tic might not have developed if twitch hadnt started trigger happy banning people for saying something they misheard as N. Im sure it plays on everyones mind as a streamer at this point.
I think the more direct cause was that chat would ask her if she'd get banned for saying it, or say "OH MAN I SURE HOPE SHE DOESN'T DROP THE HARD R", or accuse her of faking because they hadn't heard her tic it in the 30 seconds since they arrived, every stream for over a year.
They will use any and all excuses to bully you and others then pat themselves on the back for the good job they did.
