I still tic when I don't speak. When my mind isn't focused on anything specific I tic more. I'm generally a noisy shopper, bather, and gardener for this reason. I haven't told my neighbors that I have Tourette's, so they come out with their arms crossed and watch when I garden.

Do you tic when you text
-
I have started typing tics but I always notice before I hit send. And written tics are common, but txt tics are incredibly rare. I have written the words NARK and Cats on lots of very expensive things and ruined them before I realized whats happening.

I read that as dental initially and was like "...I *suppose* there's a way that could apply here..."

Why do these always happen in taxis?

-
She said above, "I still tic when I don't speak. When my mind isn't focused on anything specific I tic more." When riding in taxis, don't most people just sit back, and wait for the ride to be over? Or fidget with a device? I can see how this lets the mind wander, leadin to tics
