@Tweet4nita wouldn't it be weird if all along suppressing tics was The Cure, it was kind of a way of training the brain by suppressing to stop it happening.
If that was the case none of us would ever have tourettes. It can be very dangerous to be abusive towards strangers, and very difficult/embarrassing in day to day life. One of the first thing many of us do is try really hard to hide it and hold it in.

I've always wanted to be friends with someone with tourettes because not only would it be funny as hell, but if those time's did happen out in public, i'll just laugh, in order to comfort the person with tourettes so it's less embarrassing for them.
