Trust people anyway. Be vulnerable, be trustworthy for others too. I know its hard but If you stop you've already lost the chance to bring great people into your life. Humans aren't perfect, they'll make mistakes but nothing is more healing than real love and companionship.
Trust is hard especially after a life like yours, but we only give the worst people in our past more control in our lives if we let them craft us into bitter, fearful adults. They took your happiness for a time don't let them take your kindness and your connections too.
