I didn’t like the tone of doubt either. I get where the writer was trying to go with it, but still... if someone discredits you it’s because they haven’t seen much of your content. You’re incredibly genuine. It was good to spread awareness, but it should be written better IMO.

I thought it was mostly positive and informative, but it had some healthy skepticism regarding things the journalist wasn't able to verify for privacy reasons. To be fair, it's their job to tell a story and verify information, and Twitch has had its share of dishonest streamers.

Hmm i enjoyed the piece over all but the author seemed a little dunno pushy or disrespectful. Honestly it’s almost like the crap I get when I tell people I’m legally blind. They ask I’m I’m making it up and my response is always why would I want that.

For women, I'd say that this article lazily gives permission to the idea which is now rampant on Twitch, that women earn nothing on their own. That a woman is only successful because of her body, or because of a man, or in this case because of a disability.

I think the uncertain yet doubtful tone of the article helps it convey the concepts of why people watch Twitch and what they expect Streamers are expected to at least SEEM legitimate and there's a certain amount of character/color that's allowed. Too much and theyre not believed
