I debated posting this because nothing is really going to change and it’s going to really hurt to see people arguing technicalities and shit when I’m just saying what happened. Even if any of the things I said didn’t happen there’s layers to this that are against the rules
I been saying this is an issue for like ages. I've heard it all: You needed better headphones. To well you are a pussy so just deal with it. Fact of the matter is that rules only get enforced when the TO likes you in these. Rules gotta change, then we'll see change.
It honestly always bothered me how sometimes it wasn't about whos better but the player who had the loudest friends in the crowd and was homies with the TO so they could get real close to distract. Shit is beyond annoying and anyone who doesn't see it hasn't been in the spot.
Hey Tweek, so want to address a few things. That set was off stream because it was a 30 minute set as expected and there just wasn't time for that on stream. Even though we were on schedule and it sucks, it simply wasn't an option as much as we all would've loved it on stream.
For setup audio, that setup had a working mixamp by Astro that was used just the set before. It's on the players to provide a headset if needed, but we could've definitely gone and found you one had you asked for it.
The fact that people cant stop themselves from coaching a person that is playing out of respect for both competitors is beyond me When will it end? Does this mean we should punish the coaches that break the rule? They act as if this is unenforceable so they keep doing it
I've even had to tell close pals in the past to stop saying what the optimal strategy is to benefit the opposing player Heads don't care nor ever see the repercussions of their actions They only want the instant gratification of seeing their fave take it by any means necessary
i was the one who was “massaging his shoulders” and i am his girlfriend so am i not allowed to pat him on the back after he takes a game? i don’t know how that is seen as physical coaching like i’m sorry you can’t handle his girlfriend being right behind him and supporting him
also we were cheering him on like every smash game that happens, especially in a loud venue where people can cheer for whoever they want to, if they noise was bothering you, you could have said something to the TO sitting right behind you after a game happened.
