Proposal #2 submitted. Fingers crossed that one of them comes true because I really really don't want to leave Europe. I might just drink enough tonight so that tomorrow doesn't happen

If you submit paper revisions before noon... can you leave work and call it an early dart? Asking for a friend...

I still love reading about the polar regions, even in my free time when I don't have to read about them. Especially when I see mentioned in the article!

My 13/14 yr old cousin has asked for some useful links or resources on climate change. I don’t want to bombard her with scientific journals, and I can’t send her the books I have. Any suggestions from you wonderful ?

Feeling refreshed and enthusiastic after a good Christmas break. Which was needed considering that I have 2 papers to correct, a paper to review and a proposal to submit all before the end of Jan.

This is how false equivalence and “balance” works. On the one hand the climate scientists of the UN panel on climate change - on the other hand Meatloaf. Meatloaf. Yep. And the problem is that some people will believe Meatloaf knows more about climate change
