This is truly just a near-perfect example of a polluter using the *promise* of CCS as a way to get investment, support and approvals for a high-emitting carbon bomb project, and then reverting back to their actual plans, which is not bothering with CCS at all

Good to see this paragraph in the #hydrogen section. Fossil hydrogen with unspecified levels of carbon capture and methane leakage can no longer be called "low carbon" or "clean" hydrogen. Fossil hydrogen advocates need to be upfront about emissions.

Remarkable rebuttal of both Hugh White and AUKUS by . Not for the first time, I’m struck by his Gaullist critique of sovereignty over defence policy. De Gaulle, as per Kissinger, was a solid ally but insisted that France retain its capacity for freedom of action👇
