Without a clear objective, you end up in endless war. So what is the objective of #NDAA Section 1225 authorizing war to ‘counter Iran’? Is it regime change in Iran? Regime change in Syria? More war in Syria? Yemen?
I strongly urge Congress to consider the serious consequences of Section 1225 which would authorize any or all of these actions. Congress must not cede its authority to declare war to the Administration. I urge my colleagues to vote YES on my amendment to strip Sec1225 from #NDAA
Thank you for being a reasonable voice for the People. The war profiteers will continue to send innocent men and women to their deaths in wars that will murder innocents in other lands. Break the cycle.

Congresswoman Gabbard, the US Constitution gave Congress authority & responsibility for declaring war & since the Constitution is above Congress, surely if is not within the gift of Congress to effectively alter the Constitution in this way? Surely that's a matter for the people?
