Authorizing Section 1225 gives the Trump Administration total authority to keep deploying our troops to the Middle East as long as they want to, without any clear objective and without congressional authorization. This puts us on a dangerous path to endless war.

Rather than dumping trillions more dollars into more interventionist regime change wars, we should be using our precious resources to invest in our communities here at home - providing clean water, rebuilding infrastructure, improving education, housing, healthcare & more

Continuing to support Saudi Arabia would accelerate the peace process. Wouldn’t we like to see Yemen free of conflict? The root of the problem must first be dealt with. Those Iranian-backed rebels are what started it all.
