I'm going into this weekend resolved and committed to tackling the opioid crisis. I flew home to Hawaiʻi after introducing the Opioid Crisis Accountability Act, the companion bill to @BernieSanders' opioid bill. It’s time to end the opioid crisis—here’s how we’re going to do it:

Not so sure about this, but if so, can we have companies that build mines and missiles pay for the reconstruction of countries destroyed by them? Including removing dead bodies from the rubble? And demining the countryside?

Cannabis decriminalization is also necessary. This will address the opioid crisis AND the criminal Injustice system. States with legal Cannabis, like yours, have seen a 23% reduction in opioid overdoses. States like IN where it's illegal, have way more opioid abuse.
