I'm curious as to why we can find the money to bomb Syria but can't seem to afford to completely re-do the water system in Flint.
It is unacceptable that the people of Flint continue to suffer from lead-contaminated water. Now they will no longer receive bottled water, the decision of a state gov't which was responsible for creating this crisis nearly 4 years ago. It has been 1,454 days. #FlintWaterCrisis

The Federal Government should declare the city a disaster zone and get the tax base out and everyone else too. It is travesty they pay taxes and high water bills just to be poisoned.

The lead-contamination issue in Flint could have been fixed at a fraction of the cost of all the missiles that were fired on buildings marked for demolishion in Syria three days ago. Waste of taxpayers money.

East Chicago Indiana has lead in the soil. Had to close down public housing complex and a school!! Lead had been in the ground since the 80’s yet many families with children were told it was safe! Where is the accountability!?

It was declared safe, yet video after video keeps coming out with people showing contaminated water, and testimonies of citizens saying it is still contaminated...but of course the corrupt city says it is safe, so it must be right....gtfoh

The state declared the water safe to drink last week. Independent tests by NON-state organizations need to take place (if they haven't). If the state is BS'ing, someone's head should roll.
