In the 19th century, typhoid and other diseases were rampant. New technology (chlorination) & expansion of public water treatment in the U.S. in the early 20th cut mortality rates by half. We have had clean drinking water, are we willing to let that go?

We have to filter our water . Testing by health department is free July and August. Nitrates went up .3 in 1 year. Not safe for children under 2 or pg.women . Filter or buy bottle water .

Flint has plenty of options: drill there own wells( they have some of the cleanest water if you go deep enough) They can buy there water from Detroit. Whoever thought it was a good idea to the water from a river should be in jail. I used to live in Waterford
