Once again Congress fails to fulfill its constitutional duty. In a shameful bipartisan vote today, the US Senate failed to end US support for Saudi Arabia’s proxy war against Iran in Yemen that has caused devastating destruction, death, and suffering.

The U.S. has been supporting Saudi Arabia illegally in this war for years, without authorization from Congress, required by the War Powers Act. Saudi Arabia wouldn't have been able to continue this years-long war & their horrific war crimes without US logistics support & US bombs

US intervention in Yemen has not lessened the suffering of the Yemeni people; US bombs have not brought about peace. Yemeni deaths, suffering and hardship continues to increase. Washington needs to stop bowing to Saudi Arabia's wishes. Congress needs to end this madness now.
