People are demanding accountability, that Congress break up the big banks and hold them accountable for their risky behavior that devastated people’s lives and caused our economy to crash.

Too many members of Congress, from both parties, are listening to the banks and their lobbyists who write big checks to their campaigns, rather than listening to the voices of the American people who suffer as a result. This is corrupt and wrong.

Your voice matters. The system is rigged by powerful special interests who wield undue influence over our public policy, but we can change it if we work together. Add your name as a citizen cosponsor to H.R. 790 and demand Congress break up the big banks. http://aloha.votetulsi.com/page/s/prudent-banking …

Thank you for standing up for the people, even after almost 10 years some people are still struggling, some of the
#US lawmakers are openly corrupt and for big corporations and support their agenda

The bailout should have been to the tax payers to pay off consumer debt . That way it would have been a win, win . The Banks would have gotten their money through comsumer debt payoff .

Regulating the bankers is important. The middle class is struggling. We don't need more incentives for the investor class to rip us off.

So true. I’m only now beginning to rebuild after losing my home. I was totally solvent but when the market tanked, I couldn’t sell after the divorce. I lost everything when I had two toddlers to raise alone. We must break up the banks now!

Of course they were helped. Taxpayers were given free taxable income when their debt was forgiven. Tax credits flowed to help booster income. Federal insurance kicked in to cover failed bank deposits. Lots of help to taxpayers, not just banks. Stop rewriting history.

Obama could have done something about it, he didn’t. Not much can do about it now. Country is $10T more in debt to a total of $20T.
