The Senate's passage today of the #BankLobbyistAct with bipartisan support is a disgrace & a slap in the face to all whose lives were devastated by the 2008 financial crisis. This bill further deregulates Wall Street big banks & increases the risk of yet another financial crisis.
Instead of deregulating Wall Street banks that are bigger today than in 2008 when they were 'too big to fail', we should #reinstateGlassSteagal & strengthen oversight and regulations, and hold those responsible accountable for the crimes they committed against the American people

I have been fighting the bank for 8 years. These folks have lied over and over again. They lose paperwork, refuse payments, etc... I spent my life savings trying to relocate. Our family has felt like nomads in our own home.
I’m getting a bit tired of the right wing buzz word “deregulate”. We should be saying they voted to “decriminalize” Wall Street. You think bank robbers, rapists, and child molesters wouldn’t like to be deregulated? They could be. All they need is a super pac.
