Unfortunately, Mr. Trump seems to be in the Neocon camp as far as foreign relations are concerned. That's NOT why many of us voted for him. He seems to be misinterpreting the election message in that area. You're right- doesn't bode well.

Then again, the American people were firmly against our participation in WW1 and, before P Harbor, firmly against our participation in WW2. Forget the rest, including VietNam and subsequent military actions that no one approved. Our gov't doesn't care one bit what the people want

What’s your definition of peace? Let North Korea sell and develop nukes to rogue states and use them? While we do nothing about it? Cant have law without law enforcement. Look what China is doing in South China Sea! Enforcement is always better than negligent. @PacificCommand

Are you old enough to remember the Baby Bush years? We lost thousands of troops, spent trillions of dollars, and killed by some estimates over a million Iraqis. Obama did have a destructive foreign policy in many areas, but at least he kept the body count & cost relatively low.

Voters might recall that Democrats are fully complicit in The Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), Pub. L. 107-40, codified at 115 Stat. 224 and passed as S.J.Res. 23 by the United States Congress on September 14, 2001.
