It's bad. BUT, this isn't a change of subject if the subject is indeed deadly addiction(s). 400,000 deaths EVERY year are directly linked to tobacco. That's like 3 fully-loaded jumbo jets crashing 365 days a yr. AND, alcohol is present in 80% of violent crime. I know - YAWN...

Not to mention the deaths from Cirrhosis of the liver linked by heavy alcohol use. Gov took tobacco tv commercials off air but you see alcohol day/night. Kinda double standard since you can kill behind the wheel. The root is always something else for any abuse.

And eventually I realized I loved the way they made me feel&eventually I progressed to heroin.And 1 of my dr's told me it was easier to give them out then to confront an addict.I'm not saying I have a free pass because of this because I do think I would've been one regardless.

Hopefully if enough people share their stories the dr's will be more hesitant to prescribe them.And thank you for caring most people don't think addiction is an illness.I always say that I didn't aspire to growing up to be one.And sadly cancer is easter to deal with.

Remove opioid and insert any drug- Heroin addiction, meth addiction they are all way up . People will take whatever means to escape living in a world with rampant poverty. We have the G'mas selling this stuff to supplement social security now.
