If I were Kim Jong-Un I'd never trust the US. We are not a trusted actor on the global stage due to the numerous regime changes that we've done. Kim's only means of staying in power is the threat of nuclear war and he knows it.

How about denuclearizing the US? That would be a start.

Negotiation or war are not the only options. Let North Korea and South Korea enter into meaningful dialogue on reunification of Korea and trust that the south will preval. It will take decades but each little step forward protects us all from neclear war

It does not appear that Kim Jong Un is interested in negotiating anything- evil is not interested in peace. We in no way should be bending to a tyrannical government that starves and murders it's own people to retain power.
